Welcome back to another Mixed Media Tuesday! Today, I am so excited to share the first part of a brand-new project: a handmade accordion art journal.
Instead of a traditional unboxing video, I wanted to dive right in and show you some of the gorgeous new background and postal stamps from the latest AALL&Create collection in action! In this video, I walk you through creating a simple 4×6 black cardstock base, mixing Distress Paints, and building beautiful, high-contrast layers with stamping and black-and-white ephemera.
I’ve decorated the first four pages, put together the front and back covers with a vintage newspaper look, and finished it off with a simple ribbon closure.
Stay tuned for Part 2 coming this Friday, where we will complete the back pages!
