Hello crafty friends! Today I am back with a fun video. I used the Leaf Burst Stencil( ALTN | SSS ) stencil to create 5 cards. Each of the cards features different mediums that you can use with stencils. All the cards were easy and quick to make but they have a great impact!
card 1
For the first card I used good old ink blending. You can never go wrong with this, just use your favorite color combo with your blending tools and you will have perfect results. I used my Altenew Crisp Dye Inks ( ALTN | SSS ) below but you can use any inks that you have.
My sentiment is a die cut from the Script Words 2 Die Set( ALTN | SBC | SSS ) and I also added lots of glitter dots with my Glitter Drops – White Blizzard( SBC | SSS )
card 2
It’s been a while since I played with my Nuvo Embellishment Mousse ( SBC | SSS ) and for the next card I combined three different colors. You can apply them with a blending tool or your finger for a flat result or with a spatula like I did for some added dimension. It doesn’t take too long to dry and once it’s dry it does not move or smudge with your fingers.
You can be as neat as you like, take you time or be messy and mix the colors together on every leaf like I did. Love the artsy look and feel of this card!

Here is an elegant card, perfect for weddings or anniversaries. Really easy to do with simple heat embossing.
This card would also look great in silver. Also notice that by changing the placement of the stencil on your panels you can get different looks. All the golden papers are from the Kraft Stock – Metallic pad ( SBC | SSS )
card 4
One of my favorite cards from this set, with such a different style from the rest! Here I played with my Distress Oxides Ink Pads ( SBC | SSS ) and did some emboss resist.
Every time I do this technique I fall in love with it even more! Look how gorgeous that is! I recommend working on a Mixed Media Heavystock ( SBC | SSS ) it really makes a difference.

For the last card I used my Altenew Shimmer Ink Sprays ( SSS ). You can use them directly over the stencil or if you want some dimension combine them with Texture Paste ( SBC | SSS ). I demonstrate this technique in the video.
I matted my panel and also cut out a silver circle to place my sentiment. The silver papers is from the Kraft Stock – Metallic pad ( SBC | SSS ) and the sentiment is from the Script Words Die Set ( ALTN | SBC | SSS )

I was very disappointed in the Nuvo embellishment mousse initially. In spite of keeping it tightly sealed, it turned to concrete and was unusable—an expensive purchase. However, I contacted the company and they replaced my mousse. I’m storing it in a sealed container and hoping it will last as long as their other great products do. Excellent customer service from Tonic.
