A happy card today, dedicated to my friend Kathy (The Daily Marker), using a Penny Black cute stamp. Kathy you are generous, you are talented, you inspire me and you are so motivational! Thank you for being my friend!
There is something fun we are cooking for you with Kathy and Deborah for Monday morning (EST) so make sure to check back on our blogs for more details!
Now on the card. A lot of you keep asking me to make wedding cards. So here is one without a sentiment, which can be used for wedding, anniversary, engagement or Valentine’s day. Check back tomorrow for another one of this kind.
I used the masking technique to stamp the background. On this video I also used some basic copic coloring (no blending included). Can you see there is a BIG mistake somewhere on the image?! LOL
Here is a closer look
Well, yes! I forgot to paint that little hand on the right hedgehog! Only when I was editing the video I realized it! I am not shooting the video again just for this…. ha! hope you don’t mind 🙂
If you want to see more of my copic coloring adventures…. make sure you come back on Monday!
Now enjoy the video and don’t forget to scroll down for a list of supplies! Have a happy Sunday!
Supplies:
This is super cute Vicki! Can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeve!
Gorgeous card. Love this image too. TFS the video. Oh I did realize the mistake but anyway, you wrote in the video too. Is that hand paper pieced too. Looking forward to Monday as I am a huge fan of Kathy’s work too.
Darling card and such a great video!
I am always so impressed with your amazingly creative cards, Vicky! This one is so stinkin’ cute! I look forward to your videos, too, love the commentary. Thanks for the wonderful inspiration! Looking forward to your announcement.
blessings~
Adorable card! I love the paper piecing, gives such dimension and so much more interest.
Happy Sunday! Lovely card. That hand–personally, it just makes you more relatable because we all make mistakes, but hey, you caught it before you gave it away, so was it really a mistake?? I’m very excited for the card challenge and whatever else you have in mind for us!! Thanks for sharing! PS-I went to this Greek restaurant and wondered if it was authentic–thought of you! It was so yummy by the way!!
Super sweet card! Love the way you have them holding the twine and the popped up feet!
SO cute, Vicky! Love their little 3D feet, and the twine holding up the balloons!!
Oh Vicky you are such a doll !!!!!! Loved your video and loved the card. I really enjoy watching your hands create wonderful cards and listening to your snappy tunes and reading your funny commentary! Hugs, Kathy
Love this card very much. As for the mistake, at least you hadn’t sent it out. On a recent birthday card I had punched a gift card slot on the inside of a tri-fold card. The receipient called me to ask ‘what is the punched out slot for? I found the gift card on my desk! Tks for the great video… I love your creations.
ha ha ha! At least I am not the only one 🙂
Thanks for your funny comment!
love the card and the details you added to the card. gotta love coloring on kraft
Adorable card, as usual. Those little dimensional feet are so cute! Can’t wait for your surprise!
Love your card as always, but this one is one of my 2 favourites, that’s exactly the colours I use the most ^-^ I’m waiting for the same background stamp, and already have some PB hedgehog… gonna try something similar!!!
XOXO
Those hedgehogs are the cutest and so is the card! Thanks for sharing the video.
Super cute card I love it and love your video . Great coloring with copics =P
This is so adorable, with or without the hand!!! I like that you used Copics, I am trying to decide if I want them or not 🙂 Thanks for another wonderful video, don’t know what I’d do without them!
This is such a cute card. You’ve got me into balloons, too, with your video last week. I love watching and am a big fan.
This card is SOOO Cute! You really are the paper-piercing queen.
once again…love your card!! soooo talented 🙂
what kind of video camera do you use?
I adore your card, Vicky! But most of all, I really enjoyed your funny comments. LoL… “No, NO! Don’t forget the little right hand!”… Hahahahaaaa… you crack me up! 🙂
You are definitely blessed! How talented can one be! Greetings from Portugal!
Your videos are always so much fun! Thanks so much for sharing! Loved the sweet card.
I have resisted getting any of these hedgehogs, but honestly between you and Kathy at Daily Marker you’ve won me over. I’m ordering ’em today!
Love working with copics but never thought of using on kraft – great idea. Good job, Vicky, as always. And the missing hand was a great way to get people to look closely at what you’re doing!! Ha, ha…..
Love your paper piecing Vicky, darling Hedgehogs! So glad you are showing Copic markers now, I just love mine but don’t use them often enough. Did you have any trouble with the paper pilling by using the Kraft? Love the look of the copics on it. (So glad you discovered his poor missing hand and so glad to know you make mistakes too!) Patti
Just catching up on viewing your blog and videos!! Your creations are always so endearing! Love this adorable card and your extra comments in the video! xo
Love this card, its so cute. I can’t wait to see what you have up your sleeve on Monday. Thanks for sharing.
