Today I used the Picture Book KOALA die to create a clean and simple card. The design is really versatile and depending on the sentiment you decide to stamp if fits pretty much any occasion.
I created a window for my little Koala, and I kept everything simple so it really catches the eye! For the background of the window I used the Picture Book Tree Background die to add some interest and I also inked the background with blue.
Remember that you can easily customize these picture book animals. Give them flowers or balloons to hold, use ribbons to give them scarfs or bows and you can even add hats on them. So many options! In this case I turned my koala into an adorable female with a flower on her ear and some eyelashes.

Great ideas for customizing the koala and giving her some personality! I don’t much enjoy coloring, so I appreciate dies where pieces can be cut out in different colors for assembly.

I love koalas! They are my favorite animal. I’m so glad you used that die. It is the first one I have seen and I did not realize they were all in pieces. This is an adorable card and I know the little girl will love it.

I loved this picture book tree die when it was in an earlier SSS release, and I never thought too much about what kind of trees they might be. Now I know they must be eucalyptus since this darling koala is with them. 😉 Great card, Vicky! It is always a joy to see what you will make!
