Good morning crafters!
Today I am sharing another project using a wax seal in a more traditional way!
Wax comes in sticks for a wax gun as you saw yesterday but it also comes with good old wicks.
All you have to do is lit the wick and let the wax drip on your project.
Many of you might have second thoughts about doing that directly on your finished project. If you’re afraid that something might go wrong and ruin your card, don’t worry! You can make the seal on a non-stick surface. When it cools down you just peel it off and stick it on your project.
That means you can make as many seals as you like in one take and then have them ready to go!
Here is my card for today. A clean and simple “welcome baby” card. It was super simple and quick to make this card. Just add the alphabet stickers and ribbon and the wax seal brings everything together with those cute little foot prints.
and here is a closer look
Supplies:
The alpahbet stickers are from the mambiSTICKS collection by “me&my BIG ideas” but I couldn’t find them online to link them for you.
Thank you for joining me today!
