Happy Sunday! Counting the days until Christmas and I can’t believe we are almost there!!! I finished sending this year’s cards and they are all traveling to my far away friends. However, I  just can’t share a card with another theme.  So it’s a holiday card again today!

and here is a closer look

While I was making the card I was planning to add black enamel accents on his eyes, or add a white dot on them with my white gel pen to bring them to life. Then I forgot. Now that I saw the photo I remembered. But it is too late since this cute little Rudolph is crossing the ocean at the moment trying to give my wishes on time to one of my blog friends in Colorado, USA.

Thank you all for joining me today. Next Sunday I might take a break from my regular how-to videos, but I’ll let you know with a mid-week post.

  1. I posted this over on youtube, but I wanted you to see it here, too, since I am adding a question! This card is to darn cute and festive, and I love that effect on your embossing but I’m not sure that I see in your supply list what embossing powder you used to get that? It’s not just clear, is it? ….and I cannot believe you fussy cut around those antlers! that would have been too much for my patience (and my skill level!) You are the QUEEN of fussy cutting, to be sure! Happy Holidays, Vicky!

    1. Hi Penny and thank you so much for always taking the time to write a lovely comment!!! That embossing powder I used was: “CRYSTAL CLEAR” and I have it for so long that I don’t know when and where I got it. That is why I didn’t link it… Search for clear embossing with sparkle in it, or with little crystals that make it shine although it is still clear.

  2. Fabulous card as always! Such a cute little Rudolph….love the coloring of it….way cool!
The first thing I noticed as you started to make this card was NO FINGERNAIL POLISH! 🙂 LOL!!!

Anyway, love this card and this cute stamp set! Thanks for sharing it.

And also thanks for the heads up about next week. I hope I remember and don’t spend half my day checking your site! LOL!

    Merry Christmas!

  3. Hi Vicky,
I experience problems with your site, but didn’t give up and was rewarded with a cute and sweet Christmas card. Rudolph and his bling nose, just love it. Thank you for all the tipps and handy hints that you share.
Missed your “extravagant” nail polish, but may be your nails just need a break before the Holidays??*LOL*
In case we don’t “hear” of each other beforehand, have a lovely Christmas, joy and fun with your family and kiddies. Merry Christmas, fröhliche Weihnachten and a marvellous 2013
