Mid-week video?! Yes, please !

Christmas cards are my favorite and since these days I’ve been crafting a lot, I turned on my video camera.
The card I am sharing today is using the nutcracker from Christmas blueprint collection by Tim Holtz. I also used a gorgeous Alterations die by Sizzix.

and here is a closer look so you can see all that sparkle!

All those traditional colors, the nutcracker and the sparkle make this card my favorite, of all I made for this season!!!

You can enjoy the video below or at my YouTube channel.

  2. OMG, just LOVE it SOOOOOO freakin’ much!!!! This is why you’re my favorite crafter–your attention to detail is out of control!!!! This is how I like to create my cards with TONS of little details!!! Beautifully done once again!!! LOVE the distress look you gave the post card and I melted when you stamped all those script letters in vintage photo… Then I squealed when you paper pieced the LF postage stamp!!!!! SO clever and cool!!! And not to mention all the sparkle on this card gave it the perfect touch!!!! Just awesome, you genius artist, YOU!!!! (;

  7. What a wonderful surprise: such a lovely card in mid week. I loved the way you paper pieced the soldier and the way you used the other stamp sets. I have some of them, but needed a grand idea how to use them. Now HERE was the inspiration I needed. Thank you Vicky for sharing all your talent and “tricks of the trade” with us. I always greatly enjoy your videos and the marvellous cards you create.

  8. Hi Vicky,

    The stamp set you have used is one of my most favourite in my collection. However, I never really found the right inspiration to use it. After seeing you use it on a number of cards, I am so inspired!!! Especially this one…it’s absolutely awesome! I hope Tim Holtz sees this and appreciates what a splendid job you’ve done with his stamps.

    I am going to soooo case it and give you due credit!

    Thanks for your awesome crafty creations.

    Cheers!
