It’s Wednesday already and time for the third card of my week featuring Penny Black stamps. Today I made a fall card, which is also the perfect design for Thanksgiving if you celebrate it.

I have used the “autumn splendor” stamp set that has even more adorable designs for fall cards. To color everything I used my Tombow markers and I demonstrate in the video how easy they are to use if you work on a watercolor paper.

  6. Lovely card, Vicky! Good tip about the pencil line around the colored image. I teach paper crafting at a local small store. A lot of the students are nervous about freehand cutting so this is an excellent tip that I will pass along. I’ve seen lots of stamps in the new release that I’ve added to my shopping list. Winning the $25 would be a big help! I’ve followed the YouTube channel and the Facebook page for a long time.

  17. Hi! I would like to have an advice: when you create a shaker card using some foam tape, the side of the card is not very nice (you can see the foam tape)… Have you got any idea to avoid that? Hope you will have time to answer me! Thank you!

    1. You can use fun foam and a couple of nested dies to create a continues border. Or you can cut out the window frame many times out of thick cardstock and stick one on top of the other to create a nice raised and thick border. Hope I helped you out.

  18. Love this idea. I’m going to use Jack-o-Lanterns and turn it into a shaker card for one of my grandsons. It’s, of course, perfect , as it is!

  19. Love the card . I just purchase this stamp set last week. Great card idea . Thanks for sharing the card idea .
