It’s Wednesday already and time for the third card of my week featuring Penny Black stamps. Today I made a fall card, which is also the perfect design for Thanksgiving if you celebrate it.

fall card

I have used the “autumn splendor” stamp set that has even more adorable designs for fall cards. To color everything I used my Tombow markers and I demonstrate in the video how easy they are to use if you work on a watercolor paper.

  2. Vicky, your Autumn Wishes card is simply stunning! It’s all in the coloring and blending that will lend itself to each card being a different work of art! The stamps are great, but it your creativity that makes it so fantastic! Thank you again for sharing your talent with us!

  3. Hi Vicky,This card is so rich in festivity. I think of a piece of pumpkin pie when I look at it.BEAUTIFUL.

  5. Absolutely love this card, Vicky! Sadly, the stamp and the sweet sequins are OOS as usual! Hope they are back in soon. Thanks for the awesome inspiration….especially how to cut that circle!

  6. Lovely card, Vicky! Good tip about the pencil line around the colored image. I teach paper crafting at a local small store. A lot of the students are nervous about freehand cutting so this is an excellent tip that I will pass along. I’ve seen lots of stamps in the new release that I’ve added to my shopping list. Winning the $25 would be a big help! I’ve followed the YouTube channel and the Facebook page for a long time.

  7. Beautiful fall card, you did scare me when you brought out your circle die, I thought oh my gosh don’t cut it, but then you did a shaker card. lol Can’t wait until tomorrow to see what you are going have for us. Thanks Vicky!

  8. I’m really loving the results you get with the Zig markers! Love the partial diecut technique for your shaker card Vicki. It really makes it fancy.

  9. I just love Fall. What a beautiful card as usual. I’m practicing how to make shaker cards. So every time I see you make one I get excited and in a panic. thanks,
    Erica K.

  11. Hello Vicky,
I just love this pumpkin card. I especially love the way you colored it and the cutting around the leaves. Super pretty. 🙂

  12. Beautiful pumpkins, Vicky! Your coloring is perfect! I also like the way
you cut the card in order to make it a shaker. Thank you.

  13. Oh my goodness! This is just gorgeous! It’s good to see that you didn’t fail to get a shaker card in…;-)

  14. What a beautiful card! I love the pumpkins and the shaker mix you used. I also love how you cut along the stamp’s edge for your window – very nice touch!

  15. Just beautiful!!! So colorful. I loved the addition of the gold sentiment. The sequins were also really pretty with the fall colors.

  16. Hi Vicky, What a lovely card, I love the cut out and the shaker part of the card, great colouring of the pumpkin, you always come up with some great idea’s for your cards, love coming over each day to see what you come up with, I have love the 5 days of cards as well, Cheers Anna.

  17. Hi! I would like to have an advice: when you create a shaker card using some foam tape, the side of the card is not very nice (you can see the foam tape)… Have you got any idea to avoid that? Hope you will have time to answer me! Thank you!

    1. You can use fun foam and a couple of nested dies to create a continues border. Or you can cut out the window frame many times out of thick cardstock and stick one on top of the other to create a nice raised and thick border. Hope I helped you out.

  18. Love this idea. I’m going to use Jack-o-Lanterns and turn it into a shaker card for one of my grandsons. It’s, of course, perfect , as it is!

  19. Love the card . I just purchase this stamp set last week. Great card idea . Thanks for sharing the card idea .
