The new Tonic craft kit 11 is out! The kit once again is packed with products and today we will take a close-up look on what’s included.
It’s Christmas in July with this kit, as July is the month when crafty companies release their festive products. However the kit can be used for non Christmas projects, such as winter ones with the snowflake dies, or fall ones with the leaves dies and stamps. Just the dies in the kit justify the value but you get so much more in stamps, glitter, confetti, mousse, nuvo drops, aqua flow pens and of course cardstock and specialty papers!
All tonic craft kits are great stash builders and give you the opportunity to try out new products.
In the video, I will also share 3 cards I made using the dies in the kit so you can see how great they work together!
All my cards are on the clean and simple side as I wanted to demonstrate how you can work with the dies and how striking they are! No need really to do a lot to make your cards look gorgeous!
card 1
For my first card I combined two of the dies from the kit. I kept everything monochromatic, in olive green and cream. This ensures an elegant look. I created this lovely curve at the card front with the beautiful lace looking detail. I added the sentiment on the inside of the card but you can still see it when the card is closed. Love it!
To add some sparkle I adhered a few of the sequins from the kit.
card 2
for my second card I used a left over satin cardstock I had from the previous tonic craft kit 10. I placed the die at the center of my panel. As you can see it only creates the lovely detail without cutting the top and bottom. So it’s perfect for shaker cards!
In my shaker window I added Ice White confetti and added a die cut sentiment. This card is stunning in real life!
card 3
For the third card I used the beautiful border die. I cut it out on a white panel and used the specialty Red Berries paper from the kit at the back. The contrast is striking and helps this beautiful design to pop even more. I used a die cut sentiment again and added a few glitter drops on the berries with the Holiday Cheer mini glitter drops from the kit.
