Altenew makes amazing flower stamps but another thing I love is when they release 3D flower die sets! And there are 3 sets in this release! So today I am featuring one of them. This is the Hibiscus Garden 3D die set.

I die cut all the pieces out of white cardstock and then just used my alcohol markers to color them. You can always use colored cardstock or even patterned paper to cut them out. I then followed the instruction to put them together and here we are! Gorgeous aren’t they?!
For the background I decided to go with an off white panel. I used the Kind Confetti stamp set to add some random splashes. They add something there without making it too busy. I also stamped the sentiment from the new Stained Glass Window stamp set with embossing ink and applied Rose Gold embossing powder. I used the Fine Frames Cover Die to cut out a golden frame, it adds a touch of elegance. If you notice I have touches of gold all over my design, in the frame, the background, the sentiment even the center of the flowers. Touches like this really bring everything together.

Your Hibiscus is Stunning!! Beautiful colors and card!
Sometimes, you just need to hear one simple suggestion and, like magic, you are released from your non-creative box and ready to create. That suggestion for me is to cut the flower pieces from white cardstock and color them with markers. I was imagining the time it would take to go through my colored cardstock to pick and choose the right colors, but your idea is so much better. I feel free to create! Thanks, Vicky! I’d say welcome back, but that would be odd for me since I live in Tucson, AZ (just south of Phoenix) and you just left here!! Good to have you back doing videos?!! I don’t get involved with facebook so I missed your travelogue but hope you had a good time here in the desert Southwest. I spend the weekend of Creativation curled up watching the videos that generous people post on Youtube of all the booths and new products coming out. Next best thing to being there!! I’m not a big fan of layering stamps since I have such a difficult time layering up stamps, BUT I’m intrigued by the layering dies! I believe I could manage those! Thanks for sharing, Vicky.
