Can you pick a favorite die from the whole release?! Now that is hard…. but I think the kitties are a must have! How cute are they?!

Autumn Splendor card

Here is a die that works for every season, so elegant and intricate! It’s a composition of leaves so change the colors and the background and you have an autumn card or add a flower at the center and you have a spring one!  Love versatile products.

  1. Those kitties are so cute! Love the background you are featuring with the layering stencil. Will watch the video later, and learn a few new things. Thanks!

  2. I watched your video. I love your tip of inking the inside of an embossing folder. Thanks for a great video.

  3. I agree that the Sneaky Kitties is the best die in the Diecember release. Your kitty card is so sweet. The second card you created is so elegant with the gold focal point. Even though it is a fall die, looks great on a Christmas card!

  4. Love both cards! the kitties are adorable and the autumn splendor die will be so versatile throughout the year!

  5. I love your use of the leaves die and the kitties are adorable on the plaid background.
    Happy Holidays!

  6. I knew these would be beautiful and the kitties are so cute. I make my slimline cards the same size as yours and placed a mark on my Tim Holtz paper cutter in the same place! LOL

  7. The sneaky kitties die is my favorite from this release! Love your cards – the autumn splendor is really pretty!!

  8. I love that embossing folder and the color technique! Your cards are beautiful and the kitty cat border couldn’t be cuter! Simon Says Stamp designers always come up with lovely dies!

  9. Your cards turned out beautifully and SSS puts out the most amazing releases and never disappoint. Thank you Vicky

  10. The cards are gorgeous.I love the red color on both cards. The kittens are adorable .Thank you for sharing

  11. Love the gold against that dark red.
The kitties are darling. Fun to see
them all peeking over the wall.
    thanks for sharing

  12. Those kitties are adorable!
Your second card is so elegant and classy. You are right this die is so versatile you could make cards for all Seasons!
    Thanks for sharing your talent!

  13. I really liked the second one with the embossing folder. Very clean and simple. Thank you for sharing. Have a blessed day and stay safe.

  14. Thanks for sharing two beautiful card ideas. I think my favorite die from the release is also the sneaky kitties.

  15. That kittens! ADORABLE and I’m not even a cat person but who can’t love these?? Your cards are fabulous. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.

  16. Really loved the kittie card, unfortunately it was out of stock. Te colors you choose are always eye catching. I am still binging on your old videos but i took a break of the new stuff too!

  17. Fun video. I like the design of the layered gold Autumn Splendor die, but my favorites in this release are the Simple Stem and Dainty Snowflake (which I could use a similar layout).

  18. Gorgeous cards Vicky, my favorite of course is the kitties! I love to see your cat Ginger on your desk when you craft. We had 4 indoor cats who have all left us, but we now care for feral cats, all neutered and fed and named. They live in my back yard, get fed and get “treats” 2x/day! Very spoiled cats!

  19. I must agree, these kitties are so cute. And again I adore youre combination of material and techniques. Your cards are georgeous!

  20. That kitty card is SO adorable! I’m super impressed that you can estimate how much to cut without a ruler — and be so precise!!!!! I have trouble even with a ruler!!!! The “Merry Christmas” card is beautiful. Just beautiful. Love the gold with the red. I’ve been playing with tone on tone with stencils and I really like the look. Thanks, Vicky! Stay safe and have a good week/weekend.

  21. I love the color of red you used on the Christmas card and the embossing folder made a great background for the card too. Thanks for sharing your inspiration. I love the gold embossed leaves as well. Thanks so much for sharing.

  22. Hi Vicky, Thank you for inspiration about turning regular dies into Christmas cards. Just totally love the kittens!

  23. Vicky,
I always enjoying seeing what you come up with. I love the kitties (I’m a cat person myself) and I love seeing Ginger >^..^< appear in your videos…..because that is a cat's life, right? I already ordered the kitty border die some days ago, just waiting to get it. Love the simplicity with red and white card. It really highlights the image. Using the gold paper or embossing on the floral image is pretty too.

Also unrelated…..I have been working on making the wreath project you posted a couple weeks ago. I just went to IKEA the other day for the second time ever, (last time was when they open here in KS, some years ago) and picked up some frames. I will be making a few to give as gifts either to teachers or my sisters, haven't decided. But having fun making them. I love what you do with mixed media. So fun and inspirational. Thanks for sharing. I know it's a time intensive process. Happy Holidays!

  24. Totally agree. The kitties are the best. I’m the catlady. Take care of 15. The house is full of them. But so much joy

  25. I’m falling in love again with embossing folders – these 3D ones are wonderful and the inking technique is great. Thanks for the inspiration, Vicky.

  26. I don’t know which one I like better. Those little kitties are so cute, though, that may be my favorite. It’s a hard choice.

  27. Each of the dies as well as the embossing folder you’ve used I’ve got on my wish list. You are right about the delicate leaves & flower being very versatile. I really like both of the cards you’ve made & thank you for the video.

  28. Vicky, your cards are gorgeous! The Kitty card is so sweet, and liked how you made it into a slimline card. For your second card, the gold against the red is so elegant, beautiful holiday card!

  29. The Kitty border die is super cute and one of my favorite parts of this release, too! I also like the way you used the embossing folder (from an earlier release) on the one card. Let’s just face, I always enjoy all your cards!!!

  30. Vicky, your cards are just beautiful! I think you’re right….those sneaky kitties are a must have!! 🙂

  31. I love your cards, Vicky! The kitties are so cute & the simplicity of the card is wonderful. I really like the floral die also . Your card really showcases it, & its now the top of my wish list!

  32. You aren’t lazy, you are working smart! I love your sneaky kitties card. I think it is my favourite from the release too! Your holiday card is so elegant! That embossing plate mixed with the deeper ink is stunning!

  33. Great cards! I like how you created a plaid background with the stencils and those kitties are so cute! My favorite is the beautiful red embossed card and the very pretty floral die cut!

  34. Those sneaky kitties are super cute! I love how elegant your other card looks. I’m not a big fan of gold but your card looks gorgeous!

  35. Both of your cards are so fabulous, but I really love your sneaky kitties card. So playful and fun!

  36. Elegant cards! I love the deep colored backgrounds but with added interest in embossing and stamps…adds interest without being distracting!

  37. *gasp* This is my first time to your blog and channel and I absolutely loved watching your video! Your voice is so calming and you have so many great techniques! I love the inking of the embossing folder! I actually loved everything about your video and cards! Thank you, thank you for making the video tutorial! So appreciative! 🙂

  38. I so love sneaky kitties … the card is so cute ! I can see why it is your favorite die ? Autmn splendar die in that gold is regal looking… beautiful card !

  39. The kittens were adorable but my personal favorite is the red embossed card with the gold die cut….simply stunning and so elegant!!!

  40. Hi, Vicky –
I LOVE the kitty cat card!! I have four cats — all are rescues. Thanks for sharing both these cards but the cat one stole my heart!
    Happy holiday to you!
