Hi! On my “mixed media Tuesday” video today I created a page that I framed to decorate my craft room.

It has lots of dimension and I created everything by shopping my stash… I looked for and used things that I have collected over the years, including stamps, inks, papers, dies, ephemera and even paper flowers. It’s a fun project that you can follow step by step and re-create something similar with what you have.

  1. Thanks Vicky for another wonderful tutorial! I just love everything you create! I especially like everything mixed media! You’re always so upbeat! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us. You’re always inspiring me to try new things, new ways of creating. ❤️

  2. Hi Vicky, I love this project and I need decorations in my new craft room as well. Since my daughter moved out I switched rooms and this room is so big I have plenty of space!
Love all things Tim Holtz and just love making things, this project will be made tomorrow for sure! I started out with just cards as well but now I do all kinds of crafts!
Thank you so much for your inspiration!
    With love
    Pascale

  3. Hi Vicky – such a fun project. I always look forward to watching your videos and seeing what you are creating.
I think I need to do something special to hang on my craft room walls!

  4. Hi Vicky, your projects are always perfect. I love watching your videos whether it’s a journal page or a card they both inspire me. I’m very thankful that you do this full time. Thank you!

  5. I remember your first mixed media video — I [heart] card making! What a journey you’ve been on and you are such an inspiration. I’m so glad you followed your heart and I get to follow your creative journey. It’s been an absolute delight. After I get settled into my new home I hope to be making some special pieces that reflect more of who I am and what’s important to me so your Tuesday video series is timely for me!!!. I too appreciate your reminder to “shop [my] stash”!! Hard to believe you made a piece that doesn’t have stenciling, splashes or your infamous white gel pen highlights(!!!) … and yet it is so you!! Thank you for sharing all the tips and ideas as well as your process. I read on another blog post that you are considering doing a workshop tour in the USA once it is safe to travel again. That has to be the most exciting news I’ve heard in a LONG time. I’m keeping my fingers, toes and eyes crossed that I will be able to attend one. If there’s anything I can do to help you pull that together, I would be happy to do what I can. Thank you, Vicky

  6. What a awesome Mixed Media project Vicky. I love this series on wednesday.
Great to see that you also use older products, who doesn’t have them LOL.
Thank you so much for showing how to video, stay safe and have a wonderful day.
