After a couple of weeks break mixed media Tuesday is back! Today I have a double page layout on my art journal, really easy to re-create if you want to follow along! The inspiration for this page came from the Eternal Love collection.

  1. I’ve been wondering if you would continue with Mixed Media Tuesdays. This is such a beautiful page. The wow for me was adding white pigment ink. That simple addition really seemed to add a lot to the page. The faux wood background looks so good with the rest of the elements (I think I have a small piece of that wood left in my stash and your video gives me an idea for how to use it). And the quote … I’m having to find a way to make lemonade right now so the reminder is quite personal and timely! Thank you for the video, Vicky.

  2. Love this page and all the stamping you added! The music playing was beautiful! So glad you’re back for mixed media Tuesdays too!

  3. So fun! I love watching you create your art journal pages! I still haven’t tried this….but I get closer and closer every time I watch you. 🙂
Quick question: have you ever tried to HOT FOIL over those Transfer Me sheets?
I’ve looked at the patterns available, and I think a gold foiled sentiment could look beautiful over many of them.
    Thank you for the ideas!

  4. Very happy mixed media Tuesday is back! Very inspiring composition, love the lemons. I’m a great fan of your art and admiring the ideas . Thanks for the joy, you give to me.

  5. Beautiful page. And a good price for these elements at scrapbook.com. I love the new music you’re using in your videos, too.

  6. Welcome back mixed media Tuesday! This page is great, but for me, who hates fussy cutting, it is not one that I would try. As usual, thanks for the video and showing us how you do all the layering. LOVE IT!!!

  7. Stunning page Vicky.
Totally love all the layers you made.
So if I understood it well I can the use Zig brush marker and wipe it out a little if my layer where I put the colour is non-porous?
If I give the layer a thin coat of matte medium, it becomes non-porous right?
Thank you so much for sharing your great inspiration, so glad Mixed Media Tuesday is started again, although your mini journaling on IG is also stunning and so inspiring.
Stay safe and have a wonderful day.
