One of the things I love when I am creating a mixed media tag or a canvas is that I can go wild with dimension! This is something I can not do when I am creating a card or an art journal so it brings me lots of joy to switch from one to another.
For this tag I used ephemera, wooden shapes and decorative chips for the dimensional elements.
For the background I went with a combination of acrylic paints as well as stenciling with paste.

The colors are so cheery even though they’re also romantic. I love it! And I agree … doing these types of projects — where I can add as much dimension as I like — seems to help me stretch to expand my creativity! Beautiful background, as usual!
