It’s mixed media Tuesday and time for an art journal page! Following the method in my latest Tuesday videos I am sharing yet another page with rice paper, stencil, stamps and more techniques.

Have you seen the previous pages on this journal? You can find them here:

Page 1 – mushrooms

Page 2 – pumpkins

Page 3 – squirrel

Here is a look at the page and I just love the travel theme. Over the years I have made so many pages inspired by traveling and I know I will be making more!

I am in love with the background in this project. It is amazing how easy it comes together, yet looking so interesting,

one more close up, since the details are just gorgeous in the background

  1. It’s amazing to see how adding some black lines and white gel pen can add so much! Thank you for the tips. Lovely page. I was particularly interested watching you balance the color in the bottom left hand corner. The other day I was crafting and a request/need came to mind: a stencil that has a design that will easily go around a circle and oval. Just throwing it out for consideration. Have a wonderful time on your cruise!! So excited to know you will be in my old neighborhoods and hope you enjoy the beautiful scenery as well as everything else about New England and Canada — especially this time of year! Watch for whales!!!! Thank you for the video and … bon voyage!!!!!!
