Hi and welcome back to another Mixed Media Tuesday! I have a new page in my 6×6 art journal. I am following the same steps as promised until I fill the whole journal and honestly I am having so much fun with all the techniques. All the results are so different, yet the steps are always the same.
Have you seen the previous pages on this journal? You can find them here:
Page 1 – mushrooms
Page 2 – pumpkins
Page 3 – squirrel
Page 4 – bird on a branch

Here is a close up look on my art journal page. By the way the journal I am working on is a 6×6 watercolor paper journal.
Stencils, stamps and rice papers create great backgrounds without too much effort.
I love beeing at home and craft… so I just had to use that quote! It makes me laugh!

Such a fun and whimsical page! Love it!! Looking forward to seeing your new stamp design(s)! I have told people that if you get something handmade and there’s something on it that’s not straight … it’s from me! For whatever reason I have an impossible time getting things down straight. Instead of getting frustrated with myself over and over again I now call it my “signature”!!!!! “I don’t do straight”!!!!! (Embrace the wonky!!) Love your quote … it is really funny!! I do have a stencil question for you: with stencils — and especially when using paste — sometimes the finer, more delicate parts of the stencil get bent when cleaning and it can interrupt the design when I reuse the stencil. Do you have that experience? If so, how do you deal with it? Thank you for such a fun video (I LOL 2x!!); I appreciate all you teach as well as the time it takes for you to put together a video. Thank you, Vicky
