Is it just me, or has this year already started flying by?
If you’ve been following my YouTube channel, you know that Mixed Media Tuesdays are still going strong. I’ll be honest, though I’ve been so focused on the “doing” part of these projects that I’ve let my blog posts slide a little! I sometimes wonder if anyone still reads blogs in the age of quick reels and shorts, but I know many of you love having a place to see the finished photos and find the specific supply lists.
So, today I’m doing a little “catch-up” post with a triple feature! Here are the last two projects you might have missed, plus a brand-new one I’m sharing today.
1. 6 Art Journal Pages & A Mini Booklet!
For today’s video, I decided to go big! Instead of one page, I’m sharing six different colorful backgrounds using distress oxide stains and a single versatile stencil. I also show you those adorable “flower-eyed girls” in action and a quick look at how I bound these loose pages into a custom accordion-style booklet.

2. Bringing It All Together: Art Journal Tips & Tricks
In this project, I worked with the beautiful “Field Notes” collection. If you’ve ever struggled with a busy patterned background and didn’t know how to make your focal points pop, this one is for you. I shared my favorite “stamping extension” trick to bridge the gap between empty space and busy designs.

3. Old Supplies, New Life: No-Plan Art Journaling
This was such a therapeutic session. I went into my “stash” and pulled out products I’ve had for years (some for over a decade!). It’s a vintage-vibe page created layer by layer with no end goal in mind. It’s proof that you don’t need the newest, trendiest supplies to create something beautiful.

Are you still reading? I’d love to know in the comments if you enjoy these blog summaries or if you prefer sticking strictly to YouTube. It helps me know where to spend my time so I can keep bringing you the best inspiration possible!
Happy Crafting, Vicky
