For all my cards today I used the same embossing folder and the same technique. However you can see that just by changing the color of your cardstock and the color of your ink you can get different looks.
Card 1 : tone on tone
For this background I did ink the top flap of my embossing folder with a darker shade of ink than my cardstock. This adds even more shadows to the embossed design and helps the flowers pop even more.
Card 2 : white ink on craft
This combinations gives you a softer look so you can easily add focal points on top without loosing the beauty of the background.
Love how my poinsettia focal point matches the background design!
Card 3 : gold embossing
Now how stunning is this one? Don’t cover this up! Just stick a sentiment and you are good to go!
So festive and shiny!
