steampunk mixed media

Welcome to another mixed media Tuesday! Lots of fun techniques today as I am playing with resin to create a 3 dimensional project. It’s a canvas with a vintage, speampunk look and feel to it using lots of goodies from the Sir Vagabond collection.

  1. Love, love, love it. I only have the paper pad but I will try to do this as an art journal page. By the way my delusions art journal has 17 of your layouts and is bursting… can you put a bigger spine in this art journal too? Like you do with your moleskin journals? Thanks for all the inspiration giving me hours of creating putting me in my happy head space. ??

  2. Love it – the two pieces go together so well. I bought the Lady Vagabond paper and strive to do something with it soon. Your inspiration will help!!

  3. I absolutely love this (and the previous project like it). There’s a lot of flexibility that can be adjusted to a person’s taste. Thanks for the inspiration!

  4. I love your steampunk projects and the molds that you used are so interesting. One of these days I plan on trying out the molds! As always thank you for all the videos.

  5. Stunning project Vicky, I love it!
It sure will be awesome on your wall with your previous stunning project.
Thank you so much for sharing, stay safe and have a wonderful day.

  6. Love it!!! I moved into a new place in January and am still trying to organize a craft space, find a new home for pieces I made in the past and make some new stuff for the new place. I can relate!! It sure looks like the 2 pieces will go nicely together in your craft room. In a play session with resin I didn’t mix enough to fill the mould and thought I had wasted product. It never dawned on me to try pouring more over top of what was in the mould!! Thank you for sharing that tip. Sure will make life easier!!!! And I just love watching you paint and dry brush and seeing the moulded piece come to life! It’s like magic!!!! Thank you, Vicky!

  7. Love the project and how well it goes with the other one! BUT, I think that they would like nicer in MY craft room…….LOL Thanks for the video.
