  1. I’m continually fascinated with how you do your backgrounds!! Watching the colorful rice paper fade into the background but still add to the whole piece amazed — and amazes — me. What a great tribute to Klimt and I love how you added you to your piece. Thanks for leaving in the part where you used acrylic paint to try to glue!!!! I’ve not done that exactly — yet at least — but it made me laugh b/c I do something similar all the time too. My favorite response to myself is: “Oh, silly me!” Great quote on this piece too!! I really like how you use different fonts, etc. I’ve tried that a few times and I really like the look. Thanks so much, Vicky. Merry Christmas!!!!

  2. I love the rice paper, it’s beautiful, also liked how you toned down the black ink on the word art, with the scratch marks. Your creations are always so pretty. I will miss you but I know you will enjoy your time with your family. Merry Christmas Vicky and have a Happy New Year!

  3. Fabulous page Vicky. And a great new release from Stamperia.
I was so glad that you showed the smaller FC markers instead of the big brushes.I already wanted to ask you if there was a difference between them, no need anymore.
I also loved that you didn’t cut out the mistake you made by grabbing the paint instead of the glue. I must say in your defence that both of the tubes/bottles look very the same.
Thank you so much for sharing your amazing inspirational cards, mixed media and great tutorials the past year,
Stay safe and have a wonderful day.
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Healthy New Year.

  4. Beautiful! I love this page. I was able to order a couple of items and others are on back order. Can’t wait to use this collection. Do have a happy and safe holiday!

  5. Hi Vicky, hoping your holidays are wonderful. I see the binder for 5×7, sid you make it or huy it somewhere? I would like to buy it if you have a vendor.

    Thank you,
    Gladys-Michelle Hardnett

  6. Wonderful page, as always.

The colors on the paper look so vivid in your video (before the tone-downs on the background, of course). The paper pads I ordered are rather faded/desaturated, even with the Pitt pen highlighting. Do you suppose it’s the difference between the rice papers and the paper pads? Or did you do anything to make your colors pop, beyond the big brush markers?
