Do you ever combine supplies from different card kits? Today I am sharing a couple of cards I made using bits and pieces from the March and the April card kit by SimonSaysStamp. A lot of times the supplies that come in those boxes stay together and I rarely think to mix them up… not sure why…
But the 3×4 black and yellow booklet that came in the March kit is a perfect match for the April card kit.
Card 1
In this card I mainly use the papers from the booklet layered one on top of the other and I used different supplies to embellish it. The gold star brads came from the April card kit. And here is a closer look to those gold shoe laces!
Card 2
For my second card I created a shaker card. This card is so much fun and it was super easy to create. The gold foil on the background papers and the golden bow really bring everything together.
And here is a closer look

Beautiful cards. TFS!
Loved both cards and I so giggled about your cat and the lollipop. My cat’s favorite thing is to steal the lollipops from my card kits… she comes running when I get a new box and now seems to know there will a new toy for her inside!
Both adorable! I think I like the mirror one the best though- with all the talk about giving girls the confidence to love the way they look however they look and most of all to love themselves…that card would be a wonderfully fun way to send that positive message!
Adding a small detail, like the gold floss on the shoes, makes such a big difference. I love the way you turned the mirror into a shaker card. I know a little girl that this will be her next birthday card. Thanks for the inspiration.
