Today I am back with two videos. Ranger sent me a box full of new goodies so I thought it would be fun to do an unboxing video and then put these new products in to use! So I will share a video on how to use some of these supplies on an art journal below.

Art journal layout
I just had to use the new Dylusions Shimmer sprays and the paint pens so here is what I created
Lot’s of fun and so colourful! I worked on my disc bound watercolor journal. The paper is heavy and it takes sprays beautifully. I even spray water before to help everything blend nicely.
I used the new shimmer sprays for the background and you can see below how shiny they are! Amazing effect!
For coloring all those legs I also used the same sprays but this time with my brush. Remember nothing has to be perfect in an art journal… feel free to go outside the lines or not! Whatever makes you happy! Just have fun while creating!
For some extra texture I also used Tim’s new Distress Resist Spray ( SBC | SSS | JGG ). Love the grungy effect and it is actually dimensional.
Notice in the video that the sprays are translucent. That is a great attribute when you want to color over black lines that you don’t want to cover. And for those times where you want to go opaque then use the Dylusions Paint Pens ( SBC | SSS | JGG ). They write over paint, spray and they even cover black, so great for adding details and doodling.
