Hi! Today I am back with a fun card showcasing products from the new MFT release! For coloring my images I am also using the TriBlend markers just to see how handy they are and how they work.

The lovely hummingbird is from the Happy Hummingbirds( MFT | SSS ) stamp set. The cut out leaves are from the Grande Greenery – Solid Die-namics( MFT | SSS ).

For coloring the bird I used my Tri-Blend alcohol markers. These are the Spectrum Noir alcohol markers but in a 3 nib barrel including light, medium and dark shades. The color numbers are exactly the same as the Spectrum Noir and that means there are refills as well as extra nibs if you need them.

All three nibs are the fine bullet tip and the marker has the color numbers printed on the barrel as well as color coded rings so you know which one is which.

The two caps are also colored coded and they have the name of the marker on top too.

Now if you compare them with the regular individual marker you can see that it is way longer but it needs to accommodate 3 markers in one. At first I was quite skeptical on how handy this would be but after using them I think they are great to use and oh so handy. You grab a marker and you know that everything blend perfectly. A really fool proof process that makes alcohol coloring quick and easy. Plus you don’t have to find a way to organize them in sets or have color charts of markers that blend well together!

Now keep in mind of course that since there are 3 markers in one you end up with smaller barrels, so a marker can dry quicker depending on how much you use it. But fear not, there are refills for everything.

You can get one Tri-Blend marker (3 shades) individually for about $5  or grab a set of 6 Tri-Blend markers (18 shades in total) for about $30. Below you can find links to check out sets and colors.
