Hi! Today I am back with an art journal using the new gloss sprays by Dina Wakley. I saw Dina demoing them while I was in Creativation last January and I was super excited to try them out. They are not like any other sprays I have in my craft room , as these are acrylic paints and they dry permanent.
Plus?! They resist each other giving you amazing cell designs without any effort! Check the video below for a full review on them and an art journal layout!

For my page today I worked on the new Dina Wakley Media Journal – Blue Edition( SBC | SSS | JGG ). I love all the different pages and the textures in this one. The birds are from the Flying( SBC | SSS | JGG ) Chipboard Shapes pack.
All the coloring was done using my new gloss sprays. If you are into mixed media I highly recommend you give them a try, they are so much fun to work with.

This turned out so pretty. And I love that journal. May have to invest in one.
I saw these awesome sprays in Frankfurt, cant wait to get some for my stash! Your page is gorgeous as always.
It’s always fun to see you make a journal page, Vicky. Even better seeing you use the new products!
WOW! Fantastic page. Thank you for the great tips.
Really enjoyed this video – as always.
Will be checking out these sprays to see about purchasing them.
What a lovely tradition you have in Greece to embrace spring.
Look forward to seeing your posting tomorrow.
Gorgeous page Vicky! I have not grown into art journal pages yet. Your video may get me going in that direction. I love your results! The sprays have me intrigued.
Those sprays really do look like a lot of fun to use!! The way the bottom layer resists a top layer is just really cool!! Seems the sprays would make some techniques much easier to do (like your sky) and other techniques more possible (like the 2nd bird/tag). Thank you so much for sharing Greece’s tradition with the bracelets! I enjoyed hearing about it and think it is a wonderful tradition. I’ll bet the sparrows appreciate it too!! I’ve lived in the Northeast of the U.S. and now the desert of AZ and have never heard of a tradition that comes close to yours, but the U.S. is so diverse that I can’t speak for the rest of the country! I wonder if some of our Native American cultures have a tradition like your’s. Happy Spring and thank you for the video. I’m already looking forward to seeing what you post tomorrow … and what you do with the pages of the journal that are fabric!!!!! It’s good to be challenged, right?!!!! Thanks, Vicky
Awesome journal page! I love how these sprays resist each other! And that they are permanent when dry!
Great sprays, I loved that you showed them first and told things about them.
I love your page, as always.
The story behind your bracelet is awesome, I didn’t know that.
Thank you so much for sharing, have a great day.
