Hi! The November card kit by SSS has been revealed and today I am sharing an unboxing, inspiration and a giveaway! The kit is called Big Thanks Autumn and includes a wide variety of hand selected coordinating supplies, in a lovely fall color combination.

For my card I went with a vintage look and feel. I love how the fall color combinations bond with vintage and this is why I distressed my patterned paper all around. I used lots of techniques to get that look on the paper, including distressing the edges, inking them and even cutting little notches.
Using burlap is another go to technique for my fall cards. It matches perfectly with the browns and oranges and adds some texture on your projects. I also fuzzy cut some pumpkins from the left over patterned paper to embellish my card even more.
I white embossed the sentiment and finished off my card by adding a few sequins, for some sparkle!

Fall leaves and fall colors are my favorites, and I love how you have highlighted the colors of fall in this gorgeous card. I am inspired to try distressing patterned paper by cutting out notches and rolling the paper up–it’s so very effective. So wise to have the other patterned paper underneath, I was wondering about just using patterned paper in perhaps a strip to cover both openings, but perhaps it would look unbalanced underneath and what you save wouldn’t be worth it. I want to purchase that TH distressing tool! Adding the fabric adds another great texture.
