Hi! Today I am back with a fun art journal using foam stamps! I am showcasing the brand new designs that my friend Keren Tamir designed for Joggles. I was happy to meet Keren a few years ago in Creativation and we renew out date once a year ever since. She is such a kind, sweet and creative lady and I am so happy to use her designs in my pages. If you are into mixed media and you don’t already follow her, make sure you do!

  1. I don’t own a gel plate but am always fascinated by the art journal pages you’ve created using your gel plate. I may need to add one to my wish list since I have acrylic paints I’ve never used.

  2. Vicky – I just love your videos especially for your journal pages. As soon as I see one of your postings arrive in my inbox I just have to open it right away.
    Your creativity is amazing.
You make everything look so easy.

  3. Vicky, you are one clever lady!!! I always love your journal pages, but this one is really really amazing. I just love the way your background turned out!!! And the quote!!! And the stamps!!! I saw them over at the Joggles website but they didn’t catch my attention until I saw you use this one. What a great journal page/idea!! (light bulb moment!) I really enjoy making my own elements for a project too. Last year I finally broke down and invested in a gel plate and I absolutely love it. It is SO much fun to use. Sometimes I just sit down with it and play. Not having any idea what to do with the prints I pull frees me up somehow to just let go and have fun. Such a joy! And I’m learning a lot about layering and how to free myself up to layer on top of something I’ve already done — something I generally struggle with. Thank you very much for the video.

  4. Absolute stunning, what a great page Vicky, I always love how you put your backgrounds layer for layer togethter. This lightbulb and the quote together is awesome thinking.
Thank you so much for, again, an amazing inspirational Art Journal page!
    Have a wonderful weekend.

  5. Altho it looks as if you are not doing anything spectacular in each of those steps, your pages always turn out nothing short of AMAZING. I just can’t get over how stunning they come out.
I am absolutely sure that each one gives you an immense amount of satisfaction personally on what you have created. Thanks so very much for sharing these, it gives me tons of inspiration.
As for myself, I have trouble in the area of ideas and also am very intimidated by shading.
I also love your cards that you make from the SSS card kits.
