Today I am back with another art journal. So many ideas… so little time! This time I used the Tim Holtz BAGGAGE CLAIM Die ( SSS | SBC ) as my focal point in a theme that I absolutly love, which is traveling. Due to the current situation I avoid traveling so we can virtually travel in our craft room while playing with our mediums.

close-up photos
Below you can find some close-up photos where you can see the details of my project. Please check the video above for a step by step tutorial on how I made this page. For a list of supplies used scroll all the way down.
The background is a combintaion of Speckled Egg and Old Paper Distress oxide inks. I also did my go to techniques such as stencling, splatters, stamping and inking.
The amazing suitcases are from the BAGGAGE CLAIM die set ( SSS | SBC ) while the globe is the Destination die ( SBC | SSS ).
For stamping my quote I used the Altenew Mega Brush Alpha ( SBC | SSS ) stamp set.

Love it … you inspire me with every video. 🙂
So pretty!
Always looking forward to your presentations, it gives me so much inspiration. Thank you
Whats the stamp with text you are using on the edge?
Hi Vicky – I just love your journal videos. You always take us on such a “creative journey”
Ooooh la la, tres magnifique; sehr schon; que bonita; and — from Boston — wicked cool!!!! Seriously, I absolutely love that speckled egg and old paper blend. Don’t think I’ve seen that combination before. It’s really beautiful and perfect for your page. I love to travel too and miss it very much. One day …. Until then merci, danke, gracias and thank you, Vicky! I’m working on a shadow box — like one you did years ago at Christmas. Remember?!! The theme for this one is memories of my grandparents’ house (vintage). It’s SO much fun, a rewarding project and it takes a LOT of time to do (something I have plenty of these days). I appreciate all your encouragement and inspiration and that includes your videos from years ago!!! When I saw you do that project, I didn’t believe I could ever do something like that. I’ve learned so much over the years — especially from you. Deepest gratitude.
Fantastic page. Thank you.
Another outstanding video and journal layout. Thanks for sharing it with us. Beautifully done.
Stay safe and stay healthy.
Again a beautful card, it is alway an ispiration to watch your creations.
And thanks for the advice about the cutting and positioning in the middle.
