Hi friends! I hope you are all having a great weekend. This is a scheduled post, as I am away from home spending some time with my family by the sea.
I get a lot of emails from my European friends about products I use and where they can find them. So today I am making an art journal layout using products from Stamperia, an Italian craft company.
I had the idea of a butterfly rainbow in my mind for a long time. So when I saw the Stamperia patterned paper I knew it was time to make my idea come true!
Here are a few close up photos of my layout! Check how interesting the background is! And it was so easy to make by using a tissue paper and adding a few touches on top.
I have also added a metal frame to add the date and it really made a difference in embellishing my layout. What is great is that although it adds a bit of dimension, it is not that thick so the journal will close nicely.
For my quote I used alphabet stickers that stand out against the busy background.

Vicki, this is stunning. Just beautiful. Just wanted to tell you, that YOU have inspired me to purchase a journal. I’m slowly buying the supplies I need ( that you use) and I’m going to start soon. I have written out a list of quotes I want to journal. I’m excited to begin and scared at the same time. You make it look so easy. So I figure if I follow your tutorials I should be good to go.
