bicycle cards

Today I have two fun bicycle cards for you using brand new products! Have you seen the new products released by SimonSaysStamp? The new collection is called Good Vibes and today we celebrate with a blog hop! Hop along with us for tons of inspiration and lots of giveaways on every stop!!!

If you want to start the blog hop from the beginning you can go to Simon Says Stamp Blog

I created a couple of bicycle cards to inspire you! For both of them I used the Classic Bicycle die and the Vacation Time sentiment stamp set.

card 1

I kept this card monochromatic and used the gorgeous Burnished Rose cardstock. I can’t get enough of the satin line of cardstocks by tonic Studios and I think they are the best recipe for elegant looking cards. This card has no coloring at all!

I added the sentiment on a little flag I created and placed it in the basket. I also embellished my card with crystals and paper flowers.

Here is another close-up look! Gorgeous isn’t it?!

card 2

For my second card I cut out the bike twice from white cardstock and colored different parts with my alcohol markers. I then cut out the parts and did some paper piecing. Another way to get this look is to used colored cardstock to cut out all your parts.

Both my sentiments are from the Vacation Time sentiment stamp set. I embellished my card with Jewel Nuvo drops in greens and blues.

Here is a closer look! Both sentiments are embossed with white and Cool Jade embossing powder.
