Before I go ahead with my card for today I want to invite you to take a look at a video where me and Aris, Kathy, Deborah and Bill, Kelly and Mike had lunch together! So much fin!!! Take a look at the video HERE.

Time for another color challenge over at the lily pad cards! Here are the colors Kathy chose for us! You don’t have to use all of them, just 3 are enough and you can join with more that one cards… as long as they are new!

and here is what I created

I colored the little girl with copics and cut her out. To do my background scene I used vellum and white-core cardstock in different shades of blue. I tear off the cardstock pieces and adhered them the one over the other.

For the sky and the sand I used my distress inks. As a final touch I added some pearls on the beach, glossy accents on the shovel and bucket and crystal stickles on top of the waves.

The sentiment is from a clear set called “Beach Day” and you can find everything I used linked at the bottom of this post.

Here is a closer look:

Hope you are inspired to play with us! Visit Lily Pad Cards and take a look at the gorgeous projects from the rest of the team and give them all some love!!!

Lot’s of hugs and enjoy your weekend! (Make sure you stay tuned for another how-to video on Sunday )
